1. Scope


These Creator Terms govern the use of the Creator features of Stepflow and apply in addition to:


These Creator Terms constitute supplementary terms of service.



2. Creator Account


A Creator or user account enables users to:

  • Publish their own content
  • Build a community
  • Participate in future monetization programs
  • Collaborate with brands or companies


The Creator status does not constitute an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between the Creator and Stepflow. Creators act independently and not on behalf of Stepflow. Stepflow reserves the right to review or remove Creator accounts at any time.



3. Creator Content


Creators may publish content provided that it:

  • complies with applicable law
  • does not infringe third-party rights
  • complies with the applicable Community Guidelines


The Creator remains the owner of their content. The Creator warrants that they have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents for publishing the content.



4. License to Stepflow


By uploading content, the Creator grants Stepflow a:

  • Worldwide
  • Non-exclusive
  • Royalty-free
  • transferable license


To use the content in particular for:

  • Platform operation
  • Advertising
  • Marketing and marketing
  • Recommendations
  • Algorithmic display
  • Future AI systems including recommendation, moderation, and security systems


The license also includes the presentation, promotion, development, analysis, and improvement of the platform and its services.

The granted license remains in effect for content that has already been published, shared, recommended, or integrated into platform functions, insofar as this is required for platform operation, archival purposes, or legal obligations.


The license also includes transfer to affiliated companies as well as technical service providers (e.g., hosting, CDN, and distribution partners), insofar as this is necessary exclusively for the provision, operation, and improvement of the platform.



5. Monetization


Stepflow reserves the right to introduce optional monetization programs in the future, such as:

  • Revenue Sharing
  • Creator Funds
  • Subscriptions
  • Advertising revenue
  • Livestream Donations


Participation conditions may be defined separately. There is no entitlement to monetization. Stepflow does not guarantee any specific reach, visibility, interactions, or revenue. Content distribution is carried out automatically based on platform mechanisms and may be changed at any time.


Stepflow may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue monetization programs at any time if required for business, technical, or legal reasons. Where possible, reasonable prior notice will be given to affected Creators.



6. Advertising & Collaborations


Creators must clearly label advertising.


Prohibited are:

  • Hidden advertising
  • Misleading statements
  • Illegal products


Stepflow is entitled to display advertising, sponsorships, recommendations, or other commercial content next to, before, after, or within Creator content. This does not create any entitlement to compensation for the Creator unless separately agreed.



7. Removal of Creator Content


Stepflow may remove content or restrict accounts if:

  • Guidelines are violated
  • Security risks exist
  • Legal requirements apply


Stepflow may also take measures without prior notice if necessary to prevent acute risks, ensure platform security, or comply with legal obligations.



8. Termination of Creator Status


Creator accounts may be terminated at any time by:

  • the user
  • Stepflow


The Creator status is a voluntary platform feature and does not establish any permanent entitlement to participation or continuation.



9. Liability


Creators are solely responsible for published content. Creators are also responsible for tax obligations, duties, or legal requirements in connection with income from monetization programs or collaborations.



10. Changes


Stepflow may amend these terms at any time if required for legal, technical, security-related, or business reasons. The current version will be published on the platform or website.
